Spring season is the season for the departure of ice and snow.

This is the season when frozen fjords start to open up and the ice disappears. The landscapes go from winter white to summer dark and grey.

The spring will mainly be considered from late April, May and beginning of June. The midnight sun will give 24 hours of daylight to the High Arctic areas from April. This changes the light conditions to be more bright light for 24 hours a day - the ever-lasting sun.

During the nights the sun will be low on the sky and the light will be better for photography. Clouds on the sky will help and often create the most spectacular patterns in the sky.
